Wyoming Technical Educators Association
WTEA is a diverse and active division representing educators across a wide range of skilled trades and technical fields, including machining, automotive, welding, woodworking, construction, and more. Our members are dedicated to preparing students for success in high-demand careers through hands-on, industry-aligned instruction. We work to promote the value of skilled trades in Wyoming’s economy and support professional development, advocacy, and networking opportunities for educators at all levels.

High School CTE Teacher
With 15 years of industry experience in architecture, I made the decision to return to the University of Wyoming to pursue a Bachelor's degree in CTE Education. Originally from Texas, I moved to Wyoming in 2001 and quickly knew it would be home. In 2006, I earned a degree in drafting and design from Casper College. My passion lies in bringing real-world experience into the classroom, enriching student learning with practical insights. As an active member of WACTE, I value opportunities for professional growth and collaboration with like-minded educators dedicated to lifelong learning.
In my spare time, I love to read and bake. I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children. We love spending time in the Big Horn Mountains hiking and fly fishing, as well as traveling to visit family around the country.
