With 15 years of experience at the University of Wyoming College of Education, Jody has developed a versatile skill set by working across multiple facets of student support.  Jody has built a strong foundation in administrative operations, student advising, and team management while helping students with academic strategies, navigating student educational programs, and promoting teacher certification career pathways. In Jody's current role as Program Coordinator, Senior for Recruitment and Retention, she ensures the delivery of comprehensive information to future educators in order for them to be successful in their given career fields. With a deep passion for student success and a focus on continuous improvement, Jody works to enhance academic programs, promoting student engagement, and building strong relationships within the university community and with external stakeholders.

Outside of work, Jody has strong roots in Wyoming. She comes from a ranching family who settled in the Upper Platte Valley in the 1870s. She enjoys fly fishing, gardening, hiking, and spending time with her family. Jody sees the value of CTE and continuing the Wyoming spirit of hard work, determination, and perseverance. She is excited to be a part of this team to help inspire the next generation of CTE leaders.

After serving as a business teacher for 30 years, Michelle decided to transition to the school counselor role at Buffalo High School.  

With a passion for every thing CTE, Michelle loves the opportunity to support the students and teachers with academic and career planning.
