Wyoming Agriculture Teachers Association
The Wyoming Association of Agricultural Teachers (WATA) proudly serves as a vital division of WACTE, bringing together agricultural educators from across the state. This division encompasses teachers from high school to postsecondary programs, fostering collaboration that strengthens agricultural education at every level. At the annual summer conference, WATA members join colleagues from all divisions to access professional development opportunities designed to support their unique role—whether it’s delivering hands-on agricultural instruction, advancing SAE and FFA integration, or building strong connections between the classroom, industry, and community.
Agricultural Educator/FFA Advisor
Bill Dalles teaches agriculture education and serves as the FFA Advisor at Wheatland High School in Wheatland, Wyoming. Before joining Wheatland, he taught in Upton, WY, for four years. Bill’s love for the agriculture industry began at a young age where he found livestock judging. As a child he spent a lot of time at his family's fifth generation cow/calf operation. Following high school he attended both Casper College and Laramie County Community College where he obtained an associates in Agriculture. He then attended the University of Wyoming and obtained a bachelors in Agriculture education, and a masters in Business Administration.

Agricultural Educator/FFA Advisor
Brett Miller teaches agriculture education and serves as the FFA Advisor at Little Snake River Valley School in Baggs, Wyoming. Before joining LSRV, he taught in Craig, Colorado, for two years. Brett also serves as a board member for the Wyoming FFA Foundation.
His favorite part of the job is working with students each day. He credits them as the true reason he looks forward to coming to work.

Chaney Beyer is a wife and mother of one from Sheridan, Wyoming. A proud Sheridan High School graduate, she is grateful to be back teaching in her hometown. Her passion for FFA and agriculture began early and grew stronger during her service as the 2015–2016 Wyoming State FFA Sentinel, where she discovered her calling to teach agriculture.
Chaney studied Agriculture Communications and Animal Science at Casper College, competing and traveling with the Livestock Judging Team, before continuing her education at the University of Wyoming. She now brings that experience into the classroom, where she enjoys helping students develop the skills and confidence to pursue opportunities beyond what they ever imagined.
As Secretary of WATA, Chaney is excited to support and advocate for agriculture and all CTE educators across Wyoming.
